Heya peeps! How's everyone doing? I'm having my study break now of two weeks, followed by killer exams for another two weeks. followed by 6 days of holiday and i start another semester all over again!! *whew* Lord, help me haha.

Anyway, since my life has just been assignments, group work, school and now studying ... I thought i'd post pics of food since i seldom do that hehe.

Holiday !!!

Hello all ...

The much anticipated and awaited break is here!!! I am so relieved I could just collapse haha. Can you feel my sense of relief and hear my sigh of contentment? Okok too much drama hehe

I have been SOOO busy for the past few months, like every week is jam packed with activities!!! And I don't even have a boyfriend somemore. Then all my classmates with boyfriends keep complaining that they have no time to entertain them ... So basically I feel quite blessed not to have one now haha!

I had a field trip on Monday to the Singapore Island Country Club with my classmates. It was alright I guess haha. But it was a great time of bonding with fellow classmates!

This month must give thanks for catching up with old close friends!! Germaine, finally after 2 years we can meet up! Great lunch at tcc, especially the dessert oh man, and we talked so much too! All the best in your studies and your restaurant :)

Valerie, glad we can consistently meet up! Din tai fung was great as usual and next time if we go, we are so ordering the dou miao again ok! it was soo good. Jia you in your studies too, dun stress yah! Oh and I will pray for your wisdom tooth operation :)

Priyanka, Yiling, Xiao qi and Jia Shin!! My dearest bestest frens ... Again so happy we can meet up for Priyanka's farewell dinner *sobz sobz* ... New York, New York actually had really good food too! oh man, i have been spending so much money on all these restaurants. This week must eat coffee shop food ... No no, bread and water yeah rationing haha

Yesterday was Melody's scholarship ceremony for my grandfather's association. There were about 60 students and the audience was like clapping SOOO softly with SOOO much enthusiasm tut tut.

So when it came to my sister's turn I did a extremely loud whoop "WOOOOO!!!" and clapped like a maniac hahahahaha. It was hilarious, but I think my sister loved it wahaha. Then we went with my dad and my granddad for fish and co!

Oh and Friday was Geraldine's birthday party at the chalet!! We had a wonderful barbecue at Pasir Ris Park. I love pasir ris park, much better than east coast because there's nobody hahaha! At first it was quite quiet because everyone was late, but once everyone came it was crazy fun!!!

William was so pro at the barbecue fire and Shawn was the ultimate fanner of flames haha. Glad to meet everyone including Fey and Angie. When we went back to the chalet for the cutting cake ceremony it was just pure craziness, I was laughing so hard wahaha. Praise the Lord!!

Lastly, today was my first day training at Faithlight counter. Basically I will be a Faithlighter/Torchlighter at the desk downstairs. Learned a lot of things today, can't wait for next week!

The Story So Far ...

Heya peeps!

Yes I know everyone is pestering me to update my blog as I have been negligent. anyway, here is my life story so far ...

Firstly, my dearest cousin who lives in the UK came back for a visit! Her name is Sumei and she came back with her boyfriend, Paul, for a short 2 weeks or so visit. Then they got engaged! So i can't wait to go England next year in September for her wedding!! It would be at a vineyard... so cool right!

We were all very happy that she came back. Last time we were all so shy so we didn't talk much. But now that we are all grown up and mature LOL then we managed to catch up lots and became really close! Our grandparents were the happiest of course :)

Thats the three of us! Yes, trying to act cute and follow the Japanese wahaha. That was during my grandfather's 80th birthday dinner. But now she is back in Jersey sobz sobz so sad. never mind, look forward to seeing her there next year!!

That aside ... Yiling's birthday!! Well, Xiao qi, Jia Shin and I decided to surprise her at her NTU hostel at 12 midnight on her birthday. But by the time we were all ready and we trudged from Hall 7 to Hall 9 ... it was like 1.45 am. Good thing Xiao qi asked her guy friend along. I was praying so hard for protection, not good to wonder around on campus so late!

So she opened the door and she got SO shocked. like literal utter shock and surprise haha. We were holding the cake and shouting happy birthday!!! Then we gave her the presents, a pooh cushion and a Mango top (wear it ah!). Anyway, we had such a great time! then Js and I stayed in her room and we chatted till 5 am we crazy ppl. Oh the excitement of youth hahaha! Thank You Lord for this awesome time!

This week was a great week! And I got totally refreshed from miracle service and today's service :) The first seal ... provokes your thoughts today's message...

Hello peeps!

yes i know i have not been updating my blog hehe. Anyway, my flu is over, but still got a bit of cough. pray for me yah!

Basically life has been normal, nothing big happen ... which is very good and i'm very thankful for it ... considering the very interesting colourful life i was living before. There was just too much of the bad stuff gahhh. But now life is awesome!

I love this routine of going to school, where can see my frens and work towards my degree. Also love the spiritual intake of cell groups, miracle service and normal church service on Sunday. And of course my dearest family seeing them everyday, having meals together. And meeting up with my dearest friends too. People here think i a bit something wrong like this sort of routine, but I REALLY missed all these.

Anyway, i can honestly say this: "I'm really glad to be back!"

Hugz to all! Jia Shin jia you on your exams! you can do it!! Val see you on Thursday for dinner!

Priyanka, I will not make u sad haha. But really glad you can have this opportunity! So happy for you! and dun worry, we will send you off lah. Ok i make public announcement *ahem*

Cough Cough ...

LOL as you can guess from my title, i'm having a bad cough now. which becomes better on and off. lotsa phelgm and like coughing fits. Sucking lotsa lozenges and drinking lotsa water now. Tmr national day better rest well. Lord, heal me!

Anyway, school is now into the 3rd week ... and all the projects and homework are piling up. but not bad i'm very happy and glad that i managed to get into good groups and we are all so efficient and hardworking!

Outings ...

Hewo!!

Well, school aside ... since school=boring haha. lets talk about outings!

First was wed, lunch followed by shopping with my dearest ah jia di! Went to Sakae for lunch, followed by intensive shopping at This Fashion (Bugis branch). It was a huge place, so we tried quite a few stuff. Then because my sis is a member so we had lotsa discount!! We bought 11 tops for only $112!! woohoo! My dad pay somemore thats the best tee hee. The both of us were so happy with our sisterly time :)

Next is dinner on Thur with Rachel, Jia Shin, Jiawen ... and last minute Leechen! It was great! Saw Ivy Lee and Shawn Chen filming at Suntec, poor Rach didn't manage to get a pic haha. Went to NYDC for dinner. i LOVE the desserts hehe - For pics go to Leechen's blog i lazy hehe. Then we took more pics by the Suntec fountain which was so cool. The water is actually coming down, but the lights make it look like its going up! Trick of the eyes tsktsk. Missed you guys and really thankful that we got to meet up!

Saturday was a memorable day. My baptism day! PTL! I felt so much joy and abundant love after my baptism. Couldn't stop smiling haha. Thanks to Alan & Grace for the devotional book and to Uncle Seow Patt & Auntie Karen for the surprise bouquet of roses and card! I got shocked when i reached home how come got roses on my doorstep haha! Special thanks to those who were there to witness my baptism and EXTRA special huggies for my family for being there in this celebration! *muackz*

Sat night we had cell group dinner at Pasir Ris CC. Good food, good fellowship! All the children were SO adorable hehe. Keep making me fold origami, wanting to kiss my cheek cause i have nice skin and asking me incredulously why I dun have boyfriend hahaha. Still waiting for the Lord to send one lah, still waiting. Patience is a virtue, virtue is a grace ...

Anyway, Sun even more busy day! Morning went to Ling's church, it was awesome! Even though the service is very different from Lighthouse, but never confine our God! The presence of the Lord was very strong :) And i still like that "Ren shi ni zhen hao" song tee hee hor Jia Shin hor. I'm glad that Xiao qi and Jia Shin went too! Thanks for inviting us Ling! *hugz* Later we went to TCC for some desserts (oooh) and i rushed back to LET for 3.15 service whew.

Was crying so hard during the worship because the songs were so meaningful. Then the dramalight skit was super hilarious. Laugh until so loud haha, dad kept nudging me to shush :P After service, went to meet Xq and Js at Dorothy perkins where we bought a top each! Then Ling came and we went to Suntec for DONUTS ... GAaaaaaaaH thats all i can say. Delicious, absolutely, positively delicious. Then we went Sakae for dinner with lotsa Cha soba and green tea hehehe.

Went to Xiao Qi's place to sleepover. oh man, i shall not type much here in case i embarrass my best friends haha. Lets just say we had a few drinks with XQ's mum ... End of story, Goodbye, The End. Any questions? wahahaha But it was so much fun!! Then later we masked our faces with 100 over dollars hydrating mask LOL. Even though i was very tired, but really thank the Lord for the time we had to spend together before Ling and XQ go NTU hostel. *sigh* I love my friends, I love my God :)

Anyway, better go sleep. tmr school again!
