It is officially the last day of the wonderful year of 2007 ... Any thoughts? feelings?



Tonight will be going for the Watchnight Service at LET. So cool! I never countdown in church before ... which apparently Yiling says is something she does every year haha. Really looking forward to it! *bounce bounce*



Weeellll ... usually today is a time of reflection over the past year. All the ups and downs. The problems and the blessings. And how the Lord has never left my side and helped me through! And of course ... the resolutions for the upcoming new year 2008. Things in your life that you want to change and you CAN change lol.



From my pastor's message ... "As far as your life is concerned, God has made you responsible for its welfare and fruitfulness. In His Word, He has already promised to bless you. So to a LARGE degree, you will have to decide how you want to fare this coming year."



"If you keep doing what you have been doing for years, you will always get what you have been getting all along."



"If you desire for a mroe meaningful and fulfilled new year, some changes in your life must be made."

Yuppers! thats the chipmunk song from the movie Alvin and the Chipmunks haha! I love it even though listen long already it gets irritating i admit LOL.

Christmas ... Christmas ... today at the speedlight Christmasie, Pastor Pacer asked the question "What does Christmas mean to you?" and then there was a short video asking ppl this question on Orchard road. But if you stop to think ... what does Christmas mean to you?

Of course the main reason is Jesus Christ, to celebrate his birth and the gift of salvation!

But if you think about your current life and the world as it is now ... What does Christmas really mean to you? Is it the gifts? the gatherings? the food? the decorations? the events? family? friends? shopping?

All these play a part of Christmas in our lives ... But they should not be what Christmas actually means ...

The meaning of Christmas is giving
A heart that is loving, forgiving
The meaning of Christmas is living in gladness
The meaning of Christmas is You

The joy of the season is making
A heart of deep sorrow, rejoicing
The meaning of Christmas is knowing God's goodness
The meaning of Christmas is You

Christmas tree and santa claus and jingle bells
They are only incidental things
God has given me His very best as you can tell
And what about the joy His precious love can bring

December ...

Hey all!

Time flies doesn't it? It feels like I just came back from Canada and touchdown at Changi Airport ... But that was in May! And now its December like wow! Really thank the Lord for seeing me through this period.

Anywayz, enough of reminiscing ... This month will be quite packed! filled with activities! woohoo! so exciting! Last time in Canada just work work work and study study study ... and December so cold also nothing to do ... Even Christmas and New Year also work early, work late ... no life hahaha

So looking forward to the activities the Lord has prepared for me! Everyone enjoy your Christmas month too! Smile and be happy, live life to the fullest! Enjoy every minute of the time given to you on earth! :)

My first attempt. Always wanted to try writing one ... And since the Lord put it in my spirit to try writing one, why not write about Him! He is my song after all :)
Anywayz ... Not fantastic I know haha! Any suggestions for improvement and constructive criticism will be humbly accepted!
But I really enjoyed it because the Lord kept suggesting phrases here and there while I was writing it. Felt really close to Him! So I'll keep writing!
Hopefully next time someone can help me put a tune in so I can sing it haha!

Last paper ...

Hi peeps :)

Last paper to go tomorrow. Accounting. How shall I describe it? Terribly exciting ... So interesting ... Totally love it... Adore it with all of my pumping heart *grinz*

And yeah for those who didn't get it, that was sarcasm wahaha

Anyway, i'm really glad that it is the last paper though. FINALLY. Looking forward to the mini celebration with my dearest classmates - suntanning woohoo!! But if it rains - shopping and manicure (or haircut for mel) woohoo!!

And also looking forward to the short "holiday" ... more like time off. Catch up with some rest, swimming, sewing, meeting up with friends, movies ... Oh but there's that National parks board project thingy *sigh*

Those taking exams too besides my classmates - Priyanka, Ling, Lizhen all jia you ne!!

JS you too on your final project!! - And yes we'll meet up soon. Next sat most probably. I booked XQ two weeks in advance already. Lets hope she remembers that reservation haha

I slept so well last night. Must have been the miracle service. haven't been sleeping well the past week. Dunno why. Last night slept early and just slept so peacefully. Resting in God's love!!

Anyway ... going to church now. I am officially a member! Can't wait for my certificate *whee!* Serving next week too, so exciting! Lord, give me wisdom not to make mistakes!

Exams ...

Two down ... two to go!!

To all of my classmates who are not exempted from the last two papers - Keep it up! Ganbatte! Jia you!! We can do it!

Today was Evelyn's birthday and boy was it fun! We totally tricked her and surprised her when we appeared to join them for lunch didn't we! haha! Glad that she enjoyed her birthday :)

And amazingly even though i've been to citylink and pasta de waraku before ... I have never seen such an onslaught of celebrities!! wooohoo! first was Edmund Chen whom i didn't manage to see, followed by Elvin Ng, Jesseca Liu, Cynthia Koh who were having lunch together. And then we saw Bryan Wong doing some presenting in a jewellery shop at citylink. Wow Evelyn, you are one blessed girl hehe!

Sadly, to Apel ... I do not have the rar file to unzip your attachment. So can anyone of you send the pics and the video of today pwetty pwease with a tiramisu parfait on top?? hehehehe thanks thanks.

Well, ok i'm turning in for an early night ... followed by extensive studying of thra tomorrow. Oh Lord, who was the confounded man who invented tourism and hospitality research and analysis!?!?!
