Well .. I have always appreciated classical music, especially during the days of my 'O' levels haha. Cause its proven that when listening to classical music, your brain cells are stimulated and you can study alot better LOL.
But I confessed I have been out of touch for a few years ...
Thank the Lord for Nodame Cantabile though! I fell in love with classical music all over again! The music just got to me haha. Poring over a score, practising frequently with lotsa patience and perseverance, tinkling or banging on the ivory keys etc etc ...
And most importantly, the end product of the song being played according to what the composer wants ... and i must stress - WITHOUT desecrating the piece and causing the composer to turn in his grave *looks pointedly at sis*
Anyway, I have mastered the first movement of M.Clementi's piano sonatina Op.36 No.6! It is a lovely piece that is joyful, bouncy and lively - something i really like :) I just need to work on my dynamics hee hee
Now I am attempting Mozart's Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Twelve Variations ... which seems simple but requires a lot of technique ...
And maybe hopefully one day i can play with my sis in a place that has 2 pianos - Mozart's Piano Sonata for 2 in D Major.
Thank you Lord for the music, the songs i'm singing. Thanks for all the joy they're bringing. Who can live without it, i ask in all honesty! Without a song or a dance, what are we? So I say thank you Lord for the music, for giving it to me!! *huggiez*
To wrap it all up ... minNA-san, ganBAtte KUdasai! (say it with a caucasian accent)
