Wow, apparently Yamapi had a last minute decision of organizing a handshake event to meet his fans! And the turn out was REALLY good.. like DUH!! haha
I was REALLY impressed by his kindness and sincerity towards his fans. I'm a TegoMass fan, but Pi never ceases to amaze me!!
I mean, it is very un-Johnnys like to have this type of "meet & greet" sessions with the fans ... where the fans can actually get up close and personal with the celebrity, and actually see him face to face with no barriers in between ... and actually get to shake his hand!!
Even though there were a lot of reviews saying the staff were pulling the fans away and each fan only got like few seconds max handshakes... but it's still so surreal!
It seems like Johnnys is going in a different direction to me, but a good direction! And it all seems to be stemming from Pi.. First, a super rare world tour, now a handshake event. Somehow, Johnnys has all along given me the idea of an onlycanwatchfromfaroff and donottouch celebrity image hahaha. Yes, that formula works for the girls to go kya kya over, but i guess times have changed, and now the approach is to have more interaction? :)
Now ... if only NEWS would go on a world tour which INCLUDES Singapore as one of the venues ... AND hold a handshake event ... a girl can dream, can't she? ;)
