Chinese New Year rocks!!

Hello!

How is everyone's Chinese New Year going? Its gonna be over soon! *sobz*

Anyway, even though Pearlin and Melissa were saying today that this year's "qi fen" or festive season for Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day is not good ... To someone who has been away for 2 years I think its EXTREMELY good hahahahaha! I guess going overseas lets you appreciate better and be contented with the little we have ... which is actually alot!! :)

Below are some pics of my reunion dinner with my family. First Lo Hei!! Followed by steamboat spread haha!

The first day of Chinese New Year was spent with family - photos in Melody's camera

The second day was spent at the Choo's place, playing with Tina, chatting with Laura, Uncle Seow Patt and Auntie Karen ... Then followed by a gathering at grandmother's place, where I found out some really distant relatives whom I never knew existed hahahaha ... Then we went to Uncle Pong Huat, Auntie Yvonne and Denise place to chat and play with their SIX dogs!! - Again all of the above photos in Melody's camera

Third day was my first time serving at Miracle Service at the counter! It was so exciting and I loved the experience - Photos in Mel's cammie.

Fourth day serving at the counter again woohoo! And I went for Double Feed ... So basically I learnt how to be a delight to my parents and about a God designed marriage :)

Fifth day was Events Exam, really thank the Lord the questions were exactly the same as the past paper that I studied!! Caught Apel and Ryan at Bugis haha, went with Pearlin to tcc followed by Japanese class.

Seventh day went "Bai Nian" with Yiling, Jia Shin and Xiao Qi. It was SOO fun! We took a photo at each of our houses ... haven't load up - in my camera haha. First they came to my house, talked for a long time ... Followed by Jia Shin's house where her mum cooked lunch for us - fried bee hoon, broccoli and fried fish - which was sooooooo good! Then we went to Yiling's house to eat somemore and drink vodka with sprite which i personally didn't like, prefer to go with juice haha. I popped out to go for Japanese class (where Pearlin gaped at my bright colourful dress). Then went to Xiao Qi's house where her mum cooked dinner for us - White carrot soup, broccoli, egg with prawns, lettuce with abalone, steamed fish - which was again sooooooo good!

And now today is Valentine's Day!! Happy V-day everyone!! In Canada, v-day was for everyone and not only couples. So I spend a wonderful day today with my family for lunch, went to Melissa's house for NPB and chatting, making a fool of ourselves with her huge teddy bears haha, trying to tune her guitar, and vandalising her bear! Later will be dinner at grandmother's house, followed by supper with XQ at bedok 85 followed by sleepover!

Really thank the Lord for this wonderful CNY and valentine's day! Love my family and friends! Those who are anti-V day people *stares pointedly* you know who you are haha! Appreciate the people around you!!!

*hugz to all*

CNY approaching soon!!

Alright people!! Pull up your socks, fold up your sleeves and get to work!! Its time for major springcleaning before Chinese New Year!! *hears mumbling and groaning*

Hahahahaha oh well, its nice to see the house spick and span once a year LOL! I can't wait for Chinese New Year, like seriously. Its been 2 years since I had a decent CNY. Let alone a reunion dinner with family, eating cny goodies and collecting the much awaited hongbaos. Or even just the festive mood everywhere, cny music, cny decorations and cny merchandise! RED RED RED!!

Somehow, since I came back, I've been looking forward to my first everything in 2 years haha. First Christmas, then New Year, now its Chinese New Year. Its so exciting!! Like OOOOOooooohhhh! Can't contain it! *dances around*

I guess this childlike innocence and expectation is quite rare over here in Singapore, cause everyone around me thinks the squirrels must be missing a nut in their winter store hahahaha!

Anyway, I wanna thank the Lord for this opportunity to spend time with family members over CNY, for the pending dinner and visitations, which would be extremely lovely. And all of my dear friends not to forget! This year would be the first time we will be going to each others' house for visitations woohoo! Both my best sec sch and uni frens. I still think its so totally awesome :)

Which means ... I so better start studying for my exams which are immediately after the cny celebrations!! Lord, please give me diligence and perseverance!! pwease pwease
