Good rest ...

Yesterday was Christmas and after the Lighthouse Christmas drama we went to Uncle Joo's place for fellowship. And i ended up taking a nap on the super comfy sofa!! haha just lay down and snoozed ... zzzzzzz

But! today had to get up early for half day work *sighz* ... then went for lunch with dad and grandparents at the lovely Boon Keng hawker centre *yumz* ... but on the way back there was a sudden heavy monsoon thunderstorm that most of the cars on the highway started turning on their hazard lights. So we had to detour at Bedok and stop at a multi-storey carpark and walk around the HDB shops ...

Thank the Lord for His protection in that dangerous weather!

Later came back to do some chores like washing my faithful LeSportSac bag that has been with me to many countries and through many walks of life hahaha. The bag that i can't bear to change because its so huge and convenient with specific pockets for different things. But sis nagged at me that i should get a more working looking bag, so i bought a white one as a Christmas present to myself LOL. its smaller and not many pockets but oh well, ladies and their accessories haha!

Then i had a REALLY good nap at 5pm till about 7 plus pm. Was praying quite a bit before I slept and just conversing with the Lord. I just rested so well that i woke up feeling really refreshed and recharged :)

Indeed, as the Lord said "Come to me all you who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Thank you Jesus!

Year 2009 is coming to an end ...

The first part of December was real plain fun!!

First it was XQ surprise pickup at the airport with this SUPER HUGE banner haha. Then we went for her 21st celebration at East Coast Jumbo Seafood restaurant. YUMZ YUMZ!!

Next was the meetup on sat night for supper with uni friends at Terminal 3 tcc! We all VERY VERY long never meet up already haha. Luv all my friends!!

May everyone have a Blessed Christmas!! And always remember Christmas is the birthday of Jesus Christ and the meaning of Christmas is giving!!

But anyway, once Christmas arrives ... it will soon be the year 2010!! OMG when we hit the millennium in 2000, i never thought the 2-digit would come so fast!!! >_<

I would just like to thank the Lord for sustaining me through this year. Every year has its ups and downs, but the Lord is always faithful with His provision. And I find that after going through trials or tribulations, I would become more mature and complete as said in the book of James!! Lord, perfect my faith as I run the race before me!! :)

Basically the highlight of this year is my university graduation, lately its me finding my first job, and not to forget my wonderful trips to Desaru with cell group, Korea with Melissa and Canada with Mama! Thank You Jesus!

May the year 2010 be even filled with even more blessings by the grace of God!! For Jesus provides exceedingly, abundantly and more than our minds can EVER imagine!! I receive it, Amen!! ^_^

Christmas is coming soon! Happy Birthday Jesus!!

DON'T SAVE IT ALL FOR CHRISTMAS DAY

Don't get so busy that you miss
Giving just a little kiss
To the ones you love
Don't even wait a little while
To give them just a little smile
A little is enough

How many people are crying
People are dying...
How many people are asking for love

Don't save it all for Christmas Day
Find a way
To give a little love everyday
Don't save it all for Christmas Day
Find your way
Cause holidays have come and gone
But love lives on
If you give on
Love...

How could you wait another minute
A hug is warmer when you're in it
And baby that's a fact
And saying "I love you's" always better
Seasons, reasons, they don't matter
So don't hold back

How many people in this world
So needful in this world
How many people are praying for love

Don't save it all for Christmas Day
Find a way
To give a little love everyday
Don't save it all for Christmas Day
Find your way
Cause holidays have come and gone
But love lives on
If you give on
Love...

Let all the children know
Everywhere that they go
Their whole life long
Let them know love

Don't save it all for Christmas Day
Find a way
To give a little love everyday
Don't save it all for Christmas Day
Find your way
Cause holidays have come and gone
But love lives on
If you give on
Love...
Love...

I really like this song composed and sung by Celine Dion!!

JLPT tomorrow plus work exam!!

Really needed the Lord's strength this week cause its a very trying week! Tomorrow is my JLPT3 exam, Lord help me!! so busy with work so haven't been revising or studying much sighz. But i shall go with what i have, praying the Lord will give me wisdom and help me to remember all that i've ever studied!! And also wisdom to answer those questions that i do not know or i haven't been taught!!

And also more strength to study for my work exam! must score at least 85% then i won't be terminated ._. but the Lord would not put me in this job or even let me get it if He knew that i wont be able to handle it!! soooo ... Fear not Dawn, for He is with you. Be not dismayed, for He is your God. He will strengthen you, He will help you, He will uphold you with the right hand of His righteousness!! I LOVE Isaiah 41:10 !!! XDDDDDDDDDD

Anyway, its December again. the month of money fly away hahaha. Because December is not only mum's bday, but also pri, xq and js bdays!! And this year we are all 21 years old - meaning bigger presents! And Christmas is coming, so i cannot break my tradition of buying Christmas presents. AND December is the time for lotsa meet ups with not only close, but also long lost never see each other for the whole year friends. LOL but praise God i'm working now! so at least my pay offsets my expenses!! :)

On a lighter note, i was taking the bus 518 home from pasir ris the other day. And not many people take that bus, so I was alone when i hopped on at the interchange. And guess what? One of the buttons to press for the bell or the "Bus Stopping" sign was faulty!! So everytime the bus went over a hump, or the road was bumpy ... DING DONG!!!!

From the very first time it happened, it was at the interchange, so the bus driver knew it was faulty. Throughout the ride from the interchange to my house, nobody got on the bus and I was the only one. So for the WHOLE twenty minutes ride, DING DONG! ... then DING DONG! ... then DING DONG!! Then the poor bus driver had to keep looking in the rear view mirror to see if i wanted to get down. And everytime he looked, i had a shocked expression on my face, vigorously shaking my head and gesturing with my hand no no no no no. HAHA XD

Finally when the next stop was my house, i pressed the REAL ding dong, got up with my bag and stood at the door so the poor uncle knew that i wanted to get off hahahahahaha. i really pitied the woman who got on the bus at my stop HAHA!

Public Holiday 27 Nov 09

Sighz! Yesterday was SUCH a wonderful day!! Really enjoyed it, thank You Lord!!

Slept in for the first time in God knows how long haha, and managed to replenish all the lost sleep from getting up early to work!!

Then it was lunch with cell group members at Tian Fu steamboat buffet restaurant at Tanjong Katong. Not bad actually, the food was fresh, price reasonable, lotsa variety - and we youngsters just kept ordering hotdogs, fishballs, sotong balls, meatballs, crabsticks and beef for me hahahahhaa. Too much processed meat XD

It was a time of good fellowship! And I even got to hold/carry baby Lemuel for quite awhile and he didn't cry!! hahaha practice makes perfect. He started crying in Melody's arms though LOL! Then everyone suddenly wanted to eat durians!! So we car pooled and drove to Geylang for durian bingeing!! DELICIOUS - thank You Lord for creating durians hahahahaha

Had a good rest at home in the afternoon and watched the first episode of Jotei (Empress), another Japanese drama that I started to watch :) Later at night, went for dinner with Ling, XQ n her BF, for beef ball kuay teow noodles ... followed by desserts!! Namely honeydew sago (YUMZ!!), mango pomelo durian dessert (which i thought was quite gross) and some white fungus thingy (which i didn't like haha).

Then we headed up to Ling's house, where Ling, XQ, JS and I just totally made a fool of ourselves >_< LOL!! I can't say what it was because its supposed to be a surprise!! Basically we were doing a video and we can actually qualify to be comedians because our bloopers were so dang hilarious!! XDDDD hahaha Left Ling's house after midnight because of video editing, but shared a cab with XQ n JS to save midnight charges *thumbs up*

Thank You Lord for these two wonderful groups of people that bring so much joy to my life!! Luv Jesus and all of ya!! *muackz!*

Kevin and Anne Durant at Lighthouse Evangelism

Lurved the service today!! I attended the 3:15pm service with father, and ah jia di played the piano!! XDDDD Found the worship to be really REALLY good. I was bawling non-stop from the first note of the last song, "Still", till Jof told us to take a seat hahahahaha. Thank You Lord for that touch from You!!

Helped me alot, because I didn't realise that I was so troubled and stressed over my training. Found it so hard to absorb all the knowledge, and the bosses made it worse by testing us everyday with questions that made us all so stressed. Kept it all to myself and tried to fight the battle alone. I didn't even realise it myself!! Until the song "Still", then the Lord revealed it to me. Sobz sobz! Yes Lord, I will be still and know that YOU are MY GOD!!

The Durants' gave an excellent musical performance too! Really enjoyed it :) Although I found the trumpet mike was turned on too loud, felt like my ears were bursting haha. But Sister Anne Durant gave an excellent sermon about "A New Kind of Love". Felt very personally ministered by it.

Learnt that I should not be a wavering person (I am quite often), but to be ROOTED and GROUNDED in God's love!! And also not to TRY to love people as I love myself, because I really treat myself not very well haha. BUT to love others just as Christ has loved me!! And THAT'S saying ALOT hahahaha.

Most importantly, to forgive others INCLUDING yourself, 70 x 7 times EVERYDAY!! I find that I forgive others easily and readily, but I always beat myself up over every little thing! Dunno why, but I always feel like I am very selfish, so I always beat myself up over that. BUT! People always tell me that I am very giving, so what's my problem seriously? Most of my quiet time I tend to pray for others, but what's wrong with praying for blessings or binding the bad stuff for yourself? I just need to forgive myself for being so selfish last time and that the Lord will continue to give me a selfless spirit :)

Also, Sister Anne Durant said that we should approach our Lord Jesus BOLDLY!! Do you see yourself as a worthless person and why should God help/listen to you? She said "What determines that something is valuable? The price that someone is willing to pay, right? Jesus has paid the ultimate price by shedding His blood for you, and He feels it was SOOOOoooo worth it." So everyone stop seeing yourself to be worthless, because you are VERY valuable in God's sight!!

JCS exams over, on to JLPT!

Yay! JCS exams are officially over today!! Really thank the Lord for helping me through all the different parts of the exam. Namely composition, grammar, listening, dictation, kanji and oral exam - spread out over a period of about 2 weeks.

It was quite tough and tiring because this week was my first week at work. And its not officially work yet, but training actually ... which is even tougher because you have to absorb knowledge for eight whole hours (minus lunch time haha). But the Lord has been faithful and merciful in answering my prayers for strength from Him! :)

Because not by my own might or power, but by the spirit of God!! Throughout this whole week I was claiming the verse "The joy of the Lord is my strength" from the book of Nehemiah too. So that really helped ^_^

Anyway, need to start revising for JLPT on Dec 6th! Apparently there are some stuff that JCS has not taught that is in the JLPT syllabus. I'll do my best!!

In the meantime, praying that all my family and friends will receive salvation and abundant blessings on each and everyone!! Let us all run the race together, till we see His face!! :)

Started Work

Alas! I have officially entered the working world with the rest of the working peeps ... No turning back! No more school! Haha so drama..

But kinda reminds me of the same principle as
"I have decided to follow Jesus (x3)
No turning back
No turning back!

Though none go with me
Still I will follow (x3)
No turning back
No turning back!

The cross before me
The world behind me (x3)
No turning back
No turning back!"

Lord, please give me your strength, for when I am weak, YOU are strong!!
The joy of the Lord is my strength!!!

I pray that everyone has a good week ahead filled with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self control. May the Holy spirit guide your steps and provide you with confidence and wisdom in Christ! Amen :)

Job and Medical Checkup

Praise the Lord!!! I have a job now!! YAY!! Have been praying fervently and my prayer was answered in four months!! Good to keep track of when you started praying, then you know how long you waited for it and you can tick in the checkbox when your prayer is answered haha :)

And to top it all off, this job is the best that I have found so far. Good location, good job scope, good pay, good bosses and I claim good colleagues!! HA HA HA! For my own safety purposes, I shall not post where I am working LOL just need to know that it is a post related to customer service hehe

So after signing the contract, I had to go for a medical checkup. I think this is compulsory in most Singapore companies for permanent positions. Anyway, I took the train down to Tanjong Pagar for the medical checkup. Its basically the same as any other medical checkup that I have done for my Canadian student visa and entry in to MDIS.

Shoving aside the disgusting urine test that you have to do yourself, chest x-ray, height/weight, eyesight, colour blindness tests ... Its the horrid haemoglobin test!!! AHHHHHHH if some of you still dun get it, its the DRAWING OF BLOOD... *shivers* ahh gross. I can't bring myself to look at the needle nor the syringe filling with my blood.

The worst thing is that the doctor said cheerfully "ok! done!" and I happily looked back in relief ... And the stupid needle was still there!!!! Together with a whole tube of my dark red blood!! Then she slowly drew it out right in front of my eyes o.O

I apologise for any forms of morbidity in this post *すみません*

Thank You Jesus for taking such good care of me!! 今からも、よろしくお願いいたします!!

翼を下さい

Yaho! I realise i have been faithfully updating my blog recently haha. Feel uneasy if i dun update haha.

Anyway, i really like this song "翼を下さい" sung by Hirahara Ayaka, the soundtrack from the drama Orthros no Inu (woohoo!!). It is a cover of an old Japanese song that my sis and her band sung at one of their concerts when she was in secondary school.

I still remember going for that concert and some of the sec 4s (including my sis) even stood on the ledge of the pipe organ at the Victoria Concert Hall while singing!! Probably because my band had always played at VCH too, but we never got a chance to even go NEAR the pipe organ LOL so that concert really remained etched in my mind :)

Here are the lyrics to the song! First in kanji, then romaji for those who want to learn how to sing and then lastly in english for those who don't understand!

If I can get one wish
To come true right now, I want a pair of wings
Please grant me white wings
On my back like a bird

In this huge sky
I wanna spread my wings and fly
Towards the free sky with no sadness
I wanna flap my wings and soar

I have no need for wealth or fame
All I want now is a set of wings
I still dream of those things
That I've dreamed about when I was little

In this huge sky
I wanna spread my wings and fly

Graduation Photoshoot

I went for my graduation photoshoot today and returned my gown at the same time. And I met Melissa's dad there! I was like "Hello Uncle :)!!" for a few times before he realized who I was and went "Oh! what good timing!" HAHAHA XD

Then the makeup artist took me to this pink glittery mirror-filled place with a whole array of makeup stuff that made my eyes cross LOL never seen so many makeup tools at once in my entire life haha. After she made me look real pretty, I headed to the super posh high class changing room, before another lady came to help me put on the gown and motarboard.

Really high class, i felt like princess ... Ok a bit far-fetched. More like a celebrity!! Then I chose my photo size, 14R, before heading into the dimly lit photo taking room...

Then *BAM!!* the cameraman and his assistant turned on the lights for the photoshoot and I was almost blinded haha. This was followed by a series of shots with different backgrounds, different poses and different props. The props were like a globe, a scroll, books, chair etc.

The funniest thing that happened was when my body was at an angle and not facing the camera and the cameraman said "Ok, look here." So i turned my head quickly to the camera and the cameraman went "No no no. Please look at the camera slowly ..." And that set me off laughing in my head because of the Domoto Kyodai "yukkuri kamera wo mite kudasai" (Please look at the camera slowly) joke - Please refer to earlier post.

I mentally went "Yuk-!?!?" and wanted to laugh out loud, but hello taking pictures here. So I curbed my laughter and started grinning like an idiot. Then the cameraman said "No no dun smile so big, not at the side of your mouth got holes, not nice for photo."

Then I was like ok deep breaths Dawn stop thinking of Domoto Kyodai haha. So I smiled sweetly and the cameraman was like good good and snapping away etc. But if you could see my spirit, I was rolling on the floor with laughter hahaha! I think the Lord must have been laughing too LOL. I told Rachel about it and she couldn't stop laughing and asked me if i did what Massu did LOL

All Koichi's, Tsuyoshi's, Tegoshi's and Massu's fault!! XDDDDD

Japanese Exams

Now that i've got my blog back, i've decided to take it seriously haha. Cause i've totally stopped writing in my real hardcopy diary, so basically this blog will record my life's story ... even though its a softcopy and floating somewhere in cyberspace LOL! Does anyone even read this?!? Then it shall just be my own "private" diary haha

Anyway, today was my last day of classes as an intermediate student learning Japanese at JCS!! Wow time really flies ... It seems just last week that I stepped into my beginner's Japanese class and first got exposed to Hiragana and "watashi wa's" hahaha!

And now TWO whole years have flown by!! Really hits you on how much you should make good use of your time and treasure every moment by living a purposeful life for God! But I really thank God for the opportunity to learn another language :) Although my Canadian friends/British relatives would think i'm crazy for learning a third language, when they can't even speak a second language!! XD

But that's how it is here in Singapore. Constant learning in a rat race society. But I really love learning Japanese! And the Japanese culture, Japanese dramas, Japanese actors, Japanese singers, Japanese songs, Origami, Japanese tea ceremony etc etc etc.

So pray for my final exams starting next week! Shall tie the band around my head and do some serious studying!! The final exam is broken up into Composition, Listening, Dictation, Kanji test, Grammar and Oral ... GAH!! i think the worst is the Oral exam!! I tend to stutter or get real nervous or jumble up my words/thoughts. But Philippians 4:13 - I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME!!!

Hashed Beef Rice

Ahhhh finally the TegoMass on Domoto Kyodai saga is over ... So I have my blog back!!!

HAHAHAHA lol i actually kinda missed it. Anyway what has been going on in my life recently?

I have officially graduated with a degree!! YAY!!! my convocation was just last saturday at the Hilton Hotel. It was great really, after the ceremony i felt so touched because of my family and friends. And also it really hit me on how much the Lord has been with me through my life and how much He has helped and seen me through :)

So cheers to the past of education and cheers to my adulthood and future job/partner!

Anyway, i have finally non-stop forwarded my way through the Korean drama "Take Care of the Young Lady". Its one of best few in recent Korean dramas cause its funny with a good plot. But honestly, i got so used to the fast moving pace of Japanese dramas, where every second counts ... that i got so bored watching the serial and just started forwarding through to see what happens at the end LOL!!

So ... why is the title "Hashed Beef Rice"??? Haha cause i have just embarked on "Ryusei no Kizuna" with Nishikido Ryo yay!! turns out to be a REALLY funny show and ryo is SOOooooo totally not himself XD!!! Although the main plot of the story is really sad, cause their parents died when they were young *sniff*

The feature dish in this show is Japan's Hashed Beef Rice!! Or Hayashi Rice ハヤシライス. Its basically really thin & tender beef with onions and button mushrooms in a demi-glace sauce drizzled with fresh cream, then served with Japanese rice! *DROOLS* It looks so good that I went online to find the recipe haha. sounds quite easy to cook! And knowing me, i love to cut corners and not stick to the troublesome recipes haha. So i'll try to cook it soon hehehe ^_^

Oh and before i forget, Happy Birthday Ryou-chan!!

TegoMass on Domoto Kyodai 2009

YES!! the much awaited ... latest, but hopefully not last installment of TegoMass on Domoto Kyodai!! Honestly, just go and watch the video on Youtube. It's so much better than my screenshots LOL. Here we go!

*Official Disclaimer* I do not in ANY way own this show or have any affiliations with it. These are just some screenshots that I made from the videos online. If this violates copyright regulations, please inform me and I will take the pictures off immediately. Thank you!

TegoMass got their poses from Domoto Kyodai (refer to earlier post below), so they were asked to create poses for Kinki Kids.

Tegoshi was asked to create a pose saying "I am Tsuyoshi!"
Whilst Massu was asked to create a pose saying "I'm uh, kinda uh, Koichi..."

So Tegoshi did a pose depicting "strong"(tsuyoi) and "four"(shi) from Tsuyoshi's name
And Massu hid behind Tegoshi, only sticking his head out to say "I'm uh, kinda uh, Koichi..."
Please view the end product:

Recently, Tegoshi took up golf. But his ball keeps drawing, meaning veering to the left in golfing terms. Tsuyoshi says "Ahhh, you're not that good yet..."

And Koichi goes "Left? It veers to the left!?" *Everyone nods*

Koichi: "Ah but that's ... AH!" *Everyone waits with bated breath*

Koichi didn't know what he wanted to say so he just lamely added:
"wow, thats... not very good huh." *Everyone: BUAHAHAHAHA!*

TegoMass was asked to share about embarrassing childhood memories...
Tegoshi shared on what a brat he was during elementary school; flipping girls' skirts and suddenly running up from behind to kiss them on the cheek ...

Audience: "EHHHHH!!!"
Koichi: "Who said Eh?"
Tsuyoshi pretending to be a girl: "Ah, if only I was in the same class as Tegoshi, that would have been great!"
Koichi says in a fierce voice: "You can't change reality!!!"

Then Massu goes on to share his embarrassing childhood memory on how he got kicked during elementary school by a senior girl and he cried in the middle of the school grounds going "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!"

Before this Massu mentioned that he had a dream where he was fighting with a bear, so Koichi says that maybe this girl bully somehow transforms into a bear in his dreams ...(Melody: Freud, anyone?)

And Tsuyoshi says yeah like maybe when she sits down she will say in a guttural voice "BEAR"

Koichi laughing: "BEAR!?!?! Do you think bears make the sound "BEAR!"?!?"

"What a silly idiot!!!"

Koichi loves the bear joke and repeats it haha

And Koichi was unable to stop laughing, even until the next question starts!! haha

They started talking about magazine photoshoots and Koichi mentioned that there was once when the person ask him to look away from the camera so he said "Ok.." and turned away..

Then the person said: "Ok! Please turn slowly to look at the camera"

And Koichi went "Slow-?" and started turning toward the camera with a twitching, robotic movement with a stiff-necked pose hahahaha

So Tsuyoshi goes: "No, its like this ..." Turns slowly to face the camera, eyes widening with each second ending with super huge eyes and a shocked look.

Koichi: "Isn't that the same as mine!?"
So they asked Tegoshi to teach his seniors and he ended up with this haha ...

Then they asked Massu to try and he looked at the camera REALLY SLOWLY, but he looked really good according to Tsuyoshi ...
Koichi: "That's what they were trying to say!?!"

At the end, TegoMass was asked to look at the camera, wink and say "I love you" because Tegoshi said at the start that he does not get embarrassed anymore LOL

So they decided to do it together, but Tegoshi finished it even before Massu could wink!! hahahahaha. Massu was like "Oi, wait a minute!"
Then they tried it again and it turned out really cute cause they were laughing haha
It's quite hard to screenshot this, so go take a look at the video!!

AHHH finally, end of TegoMass on Domoto Kyodai special. LOL!

TegoMass on Domoto Kyodai 2008

Just came back from XQ's skit!! It was quite disturbing and i had so many unanswered questions at the end LOL but who cares!? Just went to see my good friend, who acted so well!! We practically yelled her name at the top of our lungs a few times till our throats were sore ... And nobody else seemed to be yelling o.O

Ling enjoyed her first installment of her birthday celebration!! And she had a hard and long time opening her first present hahaha wait till her second installment hyak hyak hyak nyak nyak nyak

ANYWAY, as promised ... the next installment of TegoMass on Domoto Kyodai screenshots!!! Sorry for the wait! This was during the "Ai Ai Gasa" period in 2008 :)

*Official Disclaimer* I do not in ANY way own this show or have any affiliations with it. These are just some screenshots that I made from the videos online. If this violates copyright regulations, please inform me and I will take the pictures off immediately. Thank you!

The show starts with Massu mentioning that he would like a pose when introducing himself, like the pose that Tsuyoshi created for Tegoshi. Tegoshi literally means "hand moves across", where the kanji for his name is 手越 - those who learn Mandarin should get it! So Tegoshi's pose is to have his hand across his face :)

So ... since Tsuyoshi thought of a pose for Tegoshi, naturally Koichi has to think of a pose for Massu right haha. So they continued talking about stuff while Koichi pondered ...

And suddenly ... Tsuyoshi goes "kita KITA!!" meaning "here it comes, here it comes!"

Koichi has thought of a pose! And in this pic he goes "MASUDA DESU!!" - Massu's name in kanji is 増田 (Masuda) ... '増' means "to increase" - so Koichi does a gradually increasingly fat pose in a guttural voice "MA-SU-DA-DE-SU!!" (I'm Masuda!)

Then Tsuyoshi said "How about doing it in death metal style like "Masuda Death!!" (Death in stead of Desu LOL). Here's the three of them doing some crazy rocker pose hahaha

Then Fukada Kyoko thought of a pose by using your fingers to make a box, because Masu can mean a box. So they totally scrapped Koichi's fat pose haha! And they were asked to introduce themselves as TegoMass - "Tegoshi desu!(I'm Tegoshi)" (pose) "Masuda desu!(I'm Masuda!)" (pose) "And together, we are TegoMass desu!!" (pose together) wahaha below is the end product :)

But of course Fukada Kyoko's way was too cute and girly .. i mean usually normal people would not use their fingers to make a box like that LOL. So Massu modified it himself and here's their latest pose!!

During the question and answer session, TegoMass was asked to share a dream that they had recently. Tegoshi said that he dreamt that he had a girlfriend, who fell in love with one of the NEWS members.
Koichi asked: "Which member was it?"
Tegoshi replied: "Kato..." (Kato Shigeaki haha XD)
When it was Massu's turn, he said that he had a dream where he was fighting with a bear, but his punches were like really slow and the bear was like "whack! slam!" fast haha. Here Massu acts out his slow motion punches going "woooooh"

Then Tsuyoshi mentioned that he had a similar dream!! He was with his mom in this dark room, and guys wearing long black coats, black hats and black sunglasses (like Japanese Yakuza) came pouring into the room. And he was all fired up and threw a punch ... but it turned out to be really really slow hahaha! And all the men were like hitting him "dossu possu". Then he cried out "Okan Nigete!!" which means "Mum!! RUN!!" hahahaha

Near the end, Massu said that he tends to fall in love at first sight.
Poor confused Koichi then says that he finds girls cute, but he does not know whether it is love or not! (Go fall in love lah Koichi haha!)
Then Tom (one of the guys behind) suggests that he should try to tell a girl that he likes her "Suki!!".
So Koichi says "Oh, like when I am walking down a street, I should point at a girl and go "SUKII!!" hahahaha

Yups yups! thats all for TM on DK 2008. All three were funny, but this one was the least funny, but still funny haha.

TegoMass on Domoto Kyodai 2009 coming up soon!!!

TegoMass on Domoto Kyodai 2006

My favourite Japanese variety show is Domoto Kyodai because it's super hilarious, ESPECIALLY when my favourite TegoMass goes on the show!! hahaha

Kinki Kids always goes crazy whenever TegoMass comes on their show. TegoMass is just merely answering all the questions truthfully ... And then Kinki Kids would pinpoint some of their answers and twist it into something totally hilarious hahahahahaha!

TegoMass has been on the show three times, and they all either make you laugh till you cry, or bang your hand on your desk, or laugh till your stomach hurts, or laugh till wheezing sounds come out hahahaha

The following are some screenshots from the first Domoto Kyodai in 2006 that TegoMass appeared on ...
*Official Disclaimer* I do not in ANY way own this show or have any affiliations with it. These are just some screenshots that I made from the videos online. If this violates copyright regulations, please inform me and I will take the pictures off immediately. Thank you!

Here's Koichi telling the MC not to interrupt him, when in fact HE was the one who interrupted the MC (in my opinion hehe)

TegoMass were asked to share an embarrassing recollection ...
Massu took off his non-zip pullover jacket in the train, only to find himself half-naked cause his inner t-shirt was stuck to the pullover HAHAHA
Tegoshi forgot to zip up his pants after visiting the toilet and went all the way home from the train station with his fly open ...
Koichi: Why did you go to the toilet for?
Tegoshi: Eh? To relieve myself ...?
Koichi: Eh!?!? Tegoshi goes to the toilet!?!? (Here's Tegoshi laughing HAHA)

Koichi: *continues to act like an idiot* I can't believe Tegoshi goes to the toilet!! (LOL >_<)

*sighz and shakes head* Koichi koichi, if you dun go to the toilet, the smell will just emit from your body!! HAHA

Tsuyoshi comments that Koichi is the strange one, thinking that a person doesn't need the toilet.
Koichi: Ahhhh!! I'm the worst! (does some self-reflection)

Tegoshi mentions that he was shocked about Michael Schumacher in the F1 race - resulting in Koichi's eyes to flash as such (cause he luvs F1 and can talk abt it for 3 hours LOL)

So Koichi gives Tegoshi a firm pat on the shoulder to show his appreciation LOL

They were asked what type of girls do they like?
Massu: Everything aside, she must be cute.
Tegoshi: Everything aside, she must not be self-centred.
Koichi: Then how about, "Everything aside, she must be fat?"
Tegoshi: Well, usually ...
Koichi: *acts like fat girl* "TE~GO~SHI~KUN~~~"

TegoMass was asked to present a serious expression that they would show to the one they love

They succeeded for about 2 seconds ... before Massu kept cracking up and looking at Tegoshi, causing the latter to burst out laughing XD

Kyoko-chan said that TegoMass are very cute :)
Then she said Kinki Kids seems like they are dead XD
Koichi: I'm not dead!!!

Domoto Kyodai with TegoMass 2008 and 2009 coming up soon!!

Psalms 51: 10-12

Create in me a clean heart, O God,
and renew a right spirit within me.

Cast me not away from your presence O God,
Take not your Holy Spirit from me.

Restore unto me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

神阿求你为我造清洁的心
使我里面重新有正直的灵。

不要丢弃我、使我离开你的面
不要从我收回你的圣灵。

求你使我仍得救恩之乐
赐我乐意的灵扶持我。

Miracle Breakthrough 10 April 2009

It was a wonderful time at Lighthouse Tampines for me!! The worship was awesome!! The atmosphere was so charged up that I think the worship team could feel it and responded. Go ah jia di! Praise the Lord!!

Although it was quite sad that we had to turn away many people, even in LEW!! By 630pm the sanctuary was full, and the tabernacle was 7/8ths full too. By 650pm i think they started turning people away already cause we were "bursting at the seams". And the service starts at 7pm!! Hopefully they will come tomorrow or on the sunday services :)

The testimony by Chen Liping and Rayson Tan was really good. very true and easy to identify with for pre-believers who are doing the same stuff that they did before, when they were deep in superstition. Many souls came to Christ! Praise the Lord!

Pastor's message was very inspiring too. about the Lord opening up our spiritual eyes to see the light and the truth! Thank the Lord that many spiritual eyes were opened :)

I'm glad to be part of the recorders on stage, to record all the healing testimonies and the miracles that our Lord performed! Feeling quite high now haha filled with joy i guess ;)

Can't wait for the rest of the breakthrough services!!!

As you can guess ...

School has started!! This week is the first week ... And I must admit, I am physically and mentally drained ... LOL my holiday was too good hahahaha!

But emotionally: very happy ... to be able to meet up with all my classmates who were all busy with their internships. We talked and crapped so much this week, plus I had lunch with some of the girls at Pizza Hut today! Overall, I think its quite great to be back at school :)

And praise the Lord! so far I only have one exam, two modules are project based. Not sure of the last one though, I would only know it 2 weeks later. But I pray its project based too ...

Then I would be able to prepare and pack happily for Korea!! YAY! oh we decided to go Korea because it is SOOO much cheaper LOL. really looking forward to it! Yupsaeyo!! *dances around*

And looking forward to my church's Miracle Breakthrough this coming Easter!! woohoo!! Plunder hell and populate Heaven!!

Currently, I am learning to sing the song "Jesus Loves Me" in Japanese and Korean ... you never know I might be able to witness to some Japanese or Korean ppl with what limited vocab i have haha ... and then sing this song to touch their hearts! I'll post it next time so everyone can learn together if you are interested :)

School starting soon ...

YAY!! Even though some might give me the evil eye, but I am really looking forward to starting school!! woohoo! I actually missed just going to school, of course my friends and even studying and doing homework! oh my, I do feel some glares coming my way hahaha

Anyway, after posting about the Bendemeer food centre near Boon Keng mrt (see post below) ... I have NEVER sunk my teeth into the smooth silky tau hui!! Only ate it just that once as mentioned in the post, then everytime by 12pm its sold out!! I think the auntie recognizes me cos I always ask whether got tau hui, she will say sold out and then i will make the agonized crying face hahaha...

While I was there again today having lunch, I saw Bryan Wong, Patricia Mok and two other Mediacorp actors ... oh my gosh i dunno their names ... I actually can name Japanese or Korean actors and i dunno my own country's actors!! ... anyway, its that show where Bryan and this other guy wear some police looking uniforms while looking for food i think ... Sobz i hope one of my favourite place's to eat does not become overly crowded or swamped with people sighz ...

Looking forward to my grad trip to Japan!! GOSH you dunno how i love traveling hee hee ... will update more on this!

Really thankful to the Lord for all that He has done in my life. Although there are always ups and downs, but He is always there for me to see me through! Really glad to be able to help the church in backup singing too. Love singing for the Lord!

P.S. Dun ya just love the new resolutions side bar? *grinz* I love Iljimae! Go Lee Jun Ki!!

A little update ...

I am basically on this fitness spree haha! Soon i will try to play squash, amidst my swimming and daily crunches/situps... Go flat stomach and toned arms!!

Just finished watching the 2005 korean romance comedy "My Girl" ... dunno why i didn't watch it when it was showing in Singapore, so my aunt lent me the dvd. It is so super funny!! luv it! and the two main guys Lee Dong Wook and Lee Jun Ki are excellent eye candy too ;)

Went to watch The Wedding Game starring Fann Wong and Christopher Lee too. I thought the movie was ok, but it was rather hilarious though haha and i dun think we would get to see them act together anytime in the near future hmmmm...

But the main theme song for the show is really nice! When my sis and I heard it during the movie, we guessed that it was Hagen Tan. What with my dad listening to his Christian chinese songs over and over again, and his voice is quite detectable LOL ... good lah, that a brother in Christ is being recognized for his talent!

The song is called <我们的爱> sung by 陈孟其 and 姚慧明 ... you can hear it and see the movie's mv on youtube!

Here are the lyrics ...

Ave Maria

手交给你 一生交给你

在你眼里 看见我自己

直到白头 谁都不会离弃

也会让你开心不哭泣

让我看仔细 永远不要忘记

所有好心情 坏脾气苦与乐都珍惜

Although i am quite confused as to why the words "Ave Maria" are in the song. checked the meaning and it means "Hail Mary" for the Catholics. A bit don't fit with the song right? LOL maybe there is another meaning since lotsa songs use it? dunno, i'm clueless ...
